There's no record of any Blue team beating a Red team to my knowledge, but it's possible it has happened in Cleveland. It has not happened in the NHC. I would say the win is a huge confidence booster for the Generals, but it *was* a scrimmage, and it *was* only one period. Definitely something to be celebrated, but it was not a regular season game, nor was it a full three periods. Whether that would have been the case over the entire course of a game remains to be seen. Things are indeed looking up for AW, however. There is still a ton of work to be done, and the Generals can't slack off for a second this season. Hopefully this is just the beginning.

The Generals will see their first test against a Red level team for the regular season this Friday against Lake Catholic, who should be in the mix for the GCHSHL's storied Red North division. They will also see action with Findlay and Southview of the NHC Red this season, so AW will get their chances with Red division teams.
