Game Summary |
The Generals finally broke loose and showed their offensive power scoring early and often to beat Thomas Worthington 12 to 0 in game shortened to two periods by the "Mercy Rule". Zak Seipel and Zach Ulrich combined for 18 points to lead the way. It was the first game that AW played with only its top 3 lines after looking at 22 different position players in its first three games. The TWHS Cardinals really never got going managing only 10 shots on goal and having only one real scoring opportunity. Dan Koralewski benefited from the Generals domination in recording his first shut-out of the season. The victory gave the Generals a fifth place finish in a tournament in which its only loss came to 2007-08 OHSSA Elite Eight team Lake Catholic. |
