| In what turned out to a close game started with Generals jumping to a 3 goal lead in the 20 minutes of play. Zak Seipel, Zach Ulrich and Robin Aubrey each scored before the Panthers' Devin Crosser made 3 to 1 after 2 periods. The teams each scored twice in the third period with Seipel and Aubrey each getting their second goals. Seipel's third period goal was an open netter.
