The AW Power Players provide the following:
- Monetary support for the AW High School hockey program.
- Manage ice time budget and pay bills.
- Management and operations for all AW hockey activities.
- Planning and assigning responsibilities for game day operations.
- Planning and organizing the Annual AW Hockey Classic (Martin Luther King holiday weekend).
- Obtaining sponsorship for the AW Power Players Program.
- Planning and organizing the Annual AW Golf Outing.
- Football Stadium Clean-up.
- Organizing Team Dinners during the season.
The AW Power Players is a very involved organization and consists primarily of AW hockey parents and former players.
